Collected Rants

 Government:

Does anyone within view of my posts find it perverse that while the government is further usurping our rights that they are giving themselves rights that are above and beyond our Bill of Rights as no one should have them. Yes, the NSA could relate all of our transmissions back to us ( I wish they would start liking my posts). But what good has all this spying done? The drug war’s a joke. The ONLY hope of not being a victim of a terrorist attack is to not be in the wrong place at the wrong time. I make the indictment that the federal government has ZERO interest in protecting us and that is a standard of control that makes COINTELPRO more harmless than a peeping tom and makes Hitler and Stalin green with jealousy as there’s a capacity for monitoring and control beyond even Satan’s wildest dreams.

 Hypocrisy:

Okay question on my mind. I all of these punk, indie and some rock artists sing songs about how bad Capitalism is, then why do I have to pay for their merch? If you’re truly anti-Cap/ anti-corporate, shouldn’t you be happy to give things away?

 War:

War IS a part of the human condition. Unless we are mindless robots with a central entity telling the whole of populace how it feels and thinks, we WILL always have disagreements which will sometimes lead to conflict. I agree with a person’s right to be anti-war. But don’t give any of us who volunteer for military service a hard time for it. You want someone to yell and scream at? Get a hold of an elected official ass empty suits are the deciders. But also remember that you may very well have voted for at least some of those people. So maybe the real “baby killer” is the person in mirror.

 Weed:

Why is it that most of the “legalize it” crowd is nothing more than a bunch a bunch of tuned out loadies who can’t sting together a political argument to save their lives and just want an excuse to get high without bother from “the man”?

 Cops:

Here’s a thought for everyone out there. A number of people I know/ run across express thoughts on how much they don’t like the cops. If you truly hold to that conviction, should you not then live your life in a way that doesn’t require police attention. I just don’t get people who “hate” the cops but engage in criminal acts or harass the police. If I don’t like someone I typically do my level best to avoid them.

 PMA:

Going through my news feed and I see a lot of whining about this or that. Some advice, you can’t change anything by moaning till yer face turns blue. But you can change your perspective and reaction to said problem. Also encourage others to become change instead of the old wish in one hand and do something in the other. Finally realize that nothing happens overnight and that it’s all for a reason. Oh and one more thing, smile more, complain less. It helps.

 Marriage:

As far as marriage equality goes. I don’t think the problem is differing views on what constitutes a marriage. I think the problem is that the power something that sacred no matter your orientation has been given to the government to legitimize or not. I say instead of being at each others’ throats over proposition what ever, we take that one back from a bunch of idiots in suits who can’t even pass a budget. Marriage belongs to the people in the relationship and legitimacy comes from a consenting officiant! Equality of any sort has NEVER been accomplished by a government, it’s always been people realizing that rights are self evident from a God granted existence. If we really believe rights come from the capitol hill, we shoulda let the Nazis win WW2 then.

 Revolution:

Well we’re barely into 2013 and things are a bit crazy. Yeah, we do need a change. Instead of joining to armed struggle circles that have come up, how about a revolution of love and understanding. Yeah, I talk about fire arms, as a means of protection not the solution. I think that just maybe, we still have time to fight for a freedom without spilling any blood. Remember 2 things. There’s no freedom in hate. And if you don’t step outside the things you know and believe, they will be your tomb. You can’t burn down or throw bricks at a bad policy, but you can certainly talk to people about means of changing it. If you want smaller government, then don’t vent your anger with criminal acts as that only raises the need for a clampdown.
