Days N Daze- Show Me The Blueprints

Days N Daze are back with another monolith of acoustic introspection. And this one drops on Fat Wreck! They made the punk rock big time and I’m happy for em. When I first heard the single Libriyum the notably better production threw me a bit. But now I love it. Being able to actually hear how good Jesse and Whitney’s voices really are is fucking awesome! Yet again they have stretched and improved their songwriting to give us another soundtrack to turning the blacklight on our own fractured psyches. So make sure your blasting this album up to 11 while you’re identifying your own demons and screaming at em to fuck off. Then dig in your couch cushions and steal your neighbors’ recycle to save up and catch a show whenever we can have shows again and these guys tour because it’s an awesome live show! Check links below to get a hold of this record cause it’s a hot one!

The Homeless Gospel Choir- This Land Is Your Landfill

The new one from Homeless Gospel Choir dropped today! This Land Is Your Landfill, and it’s a great fuckin record. Well, I’m streaming it but ya know what I mean. The best way for me to describe their sound is sadness with hope. Like when ya feel depressed but you’re gonna fight like hell with pure hope against it. And what a time for an album like this to come out. When we need every bit hope we can gwt in the present dystopia. The stand out tracks on this for me are Don’t Compare which is a protest song against getting trapped in the vicious cycle of comparing yourself to whatever bull shit you see in your social media feed. The other one is Art Punk whoch sounds like a protest against the sadness us introverted punks tend to cary with us into adulthood. I met this band through punk rock and while it didn’t die on the cross for us, it sure as shit saved our lives. Every track on this is a protest song because there’s always a fight that’s worth it. This album shows that the most important protest is against our own baggage. So find and crank this loud. Shout in protest against your isolation and insecurities. I promise every doubt is bull shit and screaming this record with your own voice is all the proof you need.
